SB 742 -- TRUSTS AND ESTATES

SPONSOR:  Caskey (Monaco)

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Judiciary by a vote of 16 to 0.

This bill lists certain activities not considered to be engaging
in the trust business and corrects an intersectional reference.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill clarifies the law.

Testifying for the bill were Senator Caskey; and The Missouri
Bar.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
